We work with open, industry-compatible standards such as OCPP, Modbus RTU/TCP, MQTT and other TCP/IP-based protocols. This allows a wide variety of hardware components to be securely and efficiently integrated into our system - even across manufacturers.
Interfaces
- Modbus TCP / RS485 - standard for communication with measuring and control devices
- MQTT - IoT-capable protocol for lightweight, asynchronous communication
- IEC 101 / 104 - For remote control and grid conformity in PV parks
- Digital inputs/outputs (DI/DO) - For direct device control
- KNX (optional) - For building automation
- REST APIs & CSV/XML exports - For external processing (e.g. in reporting tools)
- CRM and ERP systems - connection e.g. to BMD or customer-specific CRM solutions
- Third-party backends for charging infrastructure - integration via OCPP or interface module

Charging stations
Charging stations can be connected via OCPP or Modbus. The connection is made either centrally via our energyOS controller or directly via LTE/SIM card. Charging clusters are controlled via an intelligent controller that monitors all processes locally and synchronizes them with the central server.

Inverter
Inverters are read out and controlled via Modbus. Additional smart meters enable precise analysis of individual PV strings. The controller also takes over the regulation of feed-in, storage and self-consumption - regardless of the manufacturer.

Smart meter
Our solution connects smart meters directly via the energyOS Controller. They provide the basic data for load management, balancing, billing and real-time visualization - accurately and reliably.

More hardware
Diesel generators, lighting systems, telematics solutions, cable cars and cranes can also be connected via existing interfaces and controlled centrally. This creates a holistic energy management system - across all types of consumption.
